ART LOG
Typhoid Fever! She's a character heavily associated (and based off of) a singular person. I think it's obvious who that person is. It's a shame, though. Ice cream and peaches sound very good.

I was looking through my old sketchbooks for fun and found this piece of art. I had forgotten about what Measles was first going to be, a cute young woman. I'm not even sure how or when I changed his (or her?) design. I think she was more based on her virus girl counterpart, Measles-Chan, though I'm not exactly sure. I do know when I first started out with this disease humans concept I drew Rubella before Measles which was a really stupid decision on my end. You can say otherwise, but I think the new design suits Measles better. (If you want to complain about the erasure of cute young women, just wait until I post a drawing of Pneumonia.)
This drawing made me realize I have some crazy same face/expression syndrome. Never came to me that I really liked drawing smug expressions.

God blessed me with this discord server I'm in. oday they announced there would be an event in which you would design a pokemon gym leader. I chose ghost type because I like ghosts (in general) and the last time I played pokemon shield the ghost gym leader was my favorite. Their design was really cute.
I guess it wouldn't make that much sense for her outfit to be based on a pharoh because the only ghostly related aspect about them is that there all dead. My excuse is that I based her design off her signature pokemon that I forgot the name of. Her pokemon team leans into the paranormal theme while she herself is based off of the history theme. That is not an equal amount.

Speaking of Covid...Here's Covid. My favorite gender neutral chibi thing ever. First one includes the date when the WHO declared the pandemic. The monster energy is because it was popular during then and the plushie they are holding is supposed to be of a mink based on the 2020 Danish mink cull. I tested out some screentones for the bottom one. Gotta prepare for my webcomic after all. The ___ fans dni thing still goes on today but it was probably more prevelant in 2020 so I made it the dialogue. I spent a few minutes trying out dialogue...

Here's a quick Scarlet Fever drawing I drew at school. I was gonna add a few more doodles related to the disease but I was tired and forgot about it.
Now here's another doodle based on the titular Dick test. The Dick test was a medical procedure used to find susceptibility of scarlet fever in someone. Streptococcus pyogenes would be inserted under the skin. After waiting 24 hours, if that person had a red rash in the infected area they did not have immunity towards scarlet fever. This test was created in 1924 by George Frederick Dick and his wife Gladys Rowena Henry Dick, hence the name "The Dick test."
On the far left is Scarlet Fever. In the background is Strep throat on the left and Tonsilitis on the right. They are both immature teenage girls (their physical forms, at least...) and when they found out that this thing called the DICK test was directly used with one of their relatives they never let go of it.

Before I start posting my art here, I want to give some context.
I am an "original character" artist. Most of my art will be of my characters. My characters? They are humanized versions of diseases. It's why I don't like calling them my original characters, because they aren't very original.
This thing below is actually not a disease. That is Vaccine-Chan. She's a sort of parody character being an anime girl version vaccines in general. She hates all diseases and wants to kill them all. She has only been successful twice. On the other hand, she loves humanity and helping humans or anything that is living.
I gave this little introduction because I didn't want to immediately post a drawing with the caption "Covid is just the cutest!" Or something like that.
